Trial attorney, D. Alexander Latanision (Alex), enjoys a reputation as a highly skilled and energetic personal injury lawyer. He believes in fighting for victims of others’ wrongdoing and in using his knowledge and abilities to help people. Mr. Latanision has a wealth of trial experience and has obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements in serious cases. He is also a certified civil arbitrator and regularly adjudicates disputes.
Alexander Latanision grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is one of three sons of a father in sales and a schoolteacher mother. Mr. Latanision attended public schools in the Lancaster area and then college at the Pennsylvania State University. At Penn State, he was named a Schreyer Scholar and earned bachelor degrees in both economics and philosophy. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Latanision attended law school at Temple University in Philadelphia, which is ranked second in the nation for trial advocacy by U.S. News. At Temple, he was selected for the Law Review, excelled in the acclaimed Integrated Trial Advocacy Program, and received the Barrister’s Award for outstanding trial technique.
While in law school, Mr. Latanision worked with the Federal Defender for the Eastern District of PA, as well as the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where he represented accused citizens in Philadelphia’s criminal courts. Mr. Latanision also worked for and was mentored by current candidate for District Attorney of Philadelphia, Larry Krasner, a renowned civil rights lawyer and outspoken proponent of social justice.
Mr. Latanision lives in Philadelphia. In his free time, he plays lead guitar in the band, Delmonico, and is an avid cyclist.
